Okay, let's address the elephant in the room: when on earth is Season 5 of The Boys dropping? Because honestly, the last few seasons have left us so wrecked that we've been collectively holding our breath ever since the Season 4 finale. Spoiler alert: Homelander did not become a better person.
So here's what we know so far. According to the folks at Amazon Prime Video, Season 5 is officially in the works and yes, it will be the final season. Talk about bittersweet, right? Eric Kripke confirmed it'll likely premiere in 2026, which gives you plenty of time to recover from that Season 4 cliffhanger. Fill the void with every rewatch, every meme, every conspiracy theory about what Butcher's cough actually means.
Now, why the long wait? Well, the genius behind this show likes to take his time crafting each season. Quality over quantity, friends. We're talking intricate storylines, jaw-dropping set pieces, and the kind of emotional devastation that makes you question your life choices. Honestly, rushing it would be a crime on par with Ember the baby-killing volcano, and we're not having that.
