The Little Diva Who Took Over Season 3
Asia showed up on the show like a lightning bolt. She was literally still a small child, and she could already command a room. Fans were obsessed instantly.
Her mom, Jackie Ray, brought her in as a direct competitor to Maddie. The drama practically wrote itself. Abby Lee Miller probably loved every second of it.
But here's the thing. Asia wasn't just a reality TV sidekick. She was a triple threat before she even hit her teen years.
Singing? Yeah, She Did That Too
Between dance battles, Asia was quietly launching a career in music. She released original songs. Full-blown tracks. From a kid who once argued about pop-up numbers.
What Is Asia Monet Ray From Dance Moms Doing Now?
Her cover of "Unstoppable" is honestly pretty impressive. She has this confident, slightly sassy vocal style that screams "I know exactly who I am." Kids at school had to be so jealous.
She also appeared on Nickelodeon and had a music video blown up to ginormous proportions on nationalTV. Not bad for someone who still had baby teeth during the dance battles.
TV And Beyond
Asia landed a role on the show Raising Asia. So yes, Rolling Stone didn't cast her when Ally was five, but hey, eventually she got her own spotlight.
She also appeared on Criminal Minds as a kid. Pause and think about that. One minute she's doing pop-up numbers, the next she's working with actual Hollywood actors.
Asia Ray Dance Moms
Her presence on Dance Moms: The Reunion in 2023 got fans buzzing. Rumor has it she crossed some sacred production area while filming. Like, a literal rule-breaking moment that had everyone whispering.
What She's Up To Now
Asia has grown into a confident young artist. She's still dancing, still singing, and still very much unapologetically herself. That energy from Season 3? Never left.
She's built a social media following that monetizes on her authenticity. No filter needed when your personality is already this loud in the best way.
Fans keep calling for more from her. More music, more appearances, more of everything. She's been teasing projects that sound genuinely exciting.
