Ever wondered just how many Platinum records Drake has racked up? The man has been on a certification rampage for over a decade now. And the numbers are honestly kind of mind-blowing.
As of 2024, Drake has an absolutely staggering number of Platinum singles under his belt. We're talking about well over 50 Platinum-certified singles, and that's just singles — not even counting his albums. That puts him in a league that very few artists ever reach.
What Does Platinum Even Mean?
In case you're new to the whole certification thing, here's a quick refresher. A Platinum certification from the RIAA means a song has sold equivalent units of one million copies in the United States. And if a track goes multi-Platinum (like 2× or 5×), it means it's passed that million-dollar mark multiply.

Drake currently holds the distinction of being one of the most certified artists in RIAA history. To put it in perspective, most artists are thrilled to land one or two Platinum records in a career. Drake collects them like they're trading cards. If Platinum certifications were Pokemon, he'd have basically caught 'em all by now.
His album certifications tell a similar story. Projects like Views, Scorpion, and Take Care have all gone Platinum multiple times over. The man doesn't just drop music — he drops future trophies.
Why Is This So Fascinating?
What makes Drake's certification streak so interesting is how consistently he delivers. We're not talking about one lucky hit here or there. We're talking about a career-long avalanche of certified megahits that just keeps getting bigger.

He's been doing this since the late 2000s, and the momentum hasn't slowed down. Other artists have explosive moments, but Drake's reign feels more like a long, glorious sprint that never ends.
And here's a fun comparison: if each Platinum single were a gold bar, Drake would be loading up an entire vault by now. Imagine scrolling through a spreadsheet that long just of his own certifications — it would take a while.
Does the Number Keep Growing?
Absolutely. New releases hit the charts every year, and old tracks keep streaming. As of 2024, that Platinum count is still climbing with every passing month.
Drake's net worth in 2024
Streaming has changed the game entirely, and Drake has been riding that wave since day one. Every play on Spotify and Apple Music gets him closer to the next certification, so the numbers are essentially never static.
So, how many Platinums does Drake have in 2024? The answer is: a ton — and the real question might be, how many will he have by next year? With his track record, betting that the number goes up isn't exactly a risky gamble.
At the end of the day, Drake's Platinum collection is a testament to his enduring musical relevance. It's not just about talent — it's about consistency, adaptability, and knowing exactly what his audience wants. And honestly, that's what makes the whole thing so impressive.
