When you think about How I Met Your Mother, what pops into your head first? Maybe it's Barney's legendary suits, Ted's endless romantic quests, or Robin's sarcasm. But there's another name worth getting curious about — Danica McKellar.
From Teen Icon to Sitcom Guest Star
If you grew up in the '90s, Danica McKellar was basically your TV crush. She played Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years, the girl we all quietly root for from our living rooms. Fast forward to the 2000s, and she steps into the world of How I Met Your Mother as Missy.
Missy wasn't just a throwaway character — she actually stirred things up for Ted and the gang. She played into Ted's classic bad decisions, showing that some people can't resist a shiny object, even when it's clearly not right for them. It's a bit like watching someone touch a hot stove over and over again.

She had natural chemistry with the cast, especially opposite Josh Radnor's Ted. Who doesn't love watching two leads dance around attraction and regret? It's the same push-and-pull energy that makes the entire series so binge-worthy.
