How Old Is Kj On The Savannah Bananas

You know that feeling when you’re scrolling through your phone and you stumble on something so ridiculously fun that you just have to stop and watch? That’s the Savannah Bananas for you. These guys aren’t just playing baseball; they’re throwing a dance party on the diamond.

The Big Question

So, let’s get to it: how old is KJ on the Savannah Bananas? If you’ve seen him, you know he’s the guy with the massive energy, the one who seems to be having the time of his life every single second. KJ, whose full name is KJ Scobey, was born on May 14, 1996. That makes him 27 years old as of the 2023 season.

Think about that for a second. He’s right at that sweet spot in life where you’re old enough to know what you want, but young enough to still sprint across a field in a banana costume. It’s like the age when you finally stop eating cereal for dinner, but you still jump into a leaf pile just for the joy of it.

Why Should You Care?

Let’s be honest: when you ask how old a baseball player is, it usually matters for scouting or fantasy leagues. But with KJ, his age matters because it explains why he’s so good at what he does. At 27, he’s got the perfect blend of experience and goofiness.

Picture your friend who’s a little older, the one who knows how to grill a perfect steak but also still does karaoke on a Tuesday night. That’s KJ. He’s been playing professional baseball for years, so his skills are sharp, but he hasn’t lost that spark of “let’s have fun” that made you love sports as a kid in the first place.

A Little Story for Context

The other day, I saw a dad at a Little League game try to teach his son a proper batting stance. The kid just wanted to do a handstand. That’s KJ’s magic. He’s the guy who knows how to hit a home run, but chooses to do a backflip while doing it.

At 27, he’s at that age where he could be a corporate manager or a stressed-out grad student. Instead, he’s sprinting around a field, wearing a banana costume, and making grandparents laugh. It’s a beautiful reminder that you don’t have to be a grumpy adult just because you’re not a teenager anymore.

The Real Answer

So, the short answer is: KJ is 27 years old. But the real answer is that his age is just a number that tells you he’s got the energy of a golden retriever puppy and the wisdom of a veteran player. He’s proof that fun doesn’t have an expiration date.

Next time you’re watching the Bananas do a choreographed dance between innings, remember: that guy jumping on the dugout? Yeah, he’s 27. He’s probably tired. He’s probably sore. But he’s choosing to be silly, and that’s what makes it so special.

Why It Makes You Smile

Knowing KJ’s age makes the whole Banana empire feel more relatable. It’s easy to think these guys are just young goofballs, but KJ is almost 30. He’s a grown man with a serious career, and he’s still throwing fake bananas to the crowd and doing the worm on the basepath.

If a 27-year-old professional athlete can drop everything to act like a child for love of the game, maybe you can too. Maybe you can wear that ugly sweater to the holiday party or do a silly dance in the grocery aisle. That’s the lesson KJ teaches us: age is just a number, but joy is a choice.

So, how old is KJ? He’s 27. But really, he’s ageless. And that’s exactly why we can’t look away.
