You’ve probably wondered, especially if you’re a fan of Stranger Things or It: how old is Finn Wolfhard in 2025? It’s a surprisingly popular question, and knowing the answer helps fans track his growth alongside his iconic characters. This simple fact matters because it connects us to his journey as an actor, showing how childhood stars evolve into adult performers.

For families, knowing his age is useful when discussing age-appropriate roles with kids. Parents can use his timeline—he was 12 in Stranger Things Season 1—to start conversations about growing up and changing careers. Communities of fans also benefit: sharing his birth date (December 23, 2002) means he turns 22 in 2025, which sparks debates about his upcoming projects and maturing style.

In real life, this info pops up everywhere. When a new movie drops, fans ask, “Is Finn too old for this role?” For example, in 2025, his age explains why he’s playing more adult characters in films like Hell of a Summer. It also helps fans appreciate his range—he was a terrified kid in It at 14, and now at 22, he’s directing and writing.

To apply this easily, check his verified social media on his birthday each December. Or bookmark a reliable site like IMDb. If you’re a parent, use his age as a teaching moment: “Finn was 14 when he acted in scary scenes—would you watch that?” It makes the math feel real and fun.
