How Old Are Drake And Josh Now

For millions of millennials and Gen Z fans, the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh remains a cherished cornerstone of childhood. The show’s enduring appeal lies in its simple, heartwarming premise: two very different stepbrothers navigating life, school, and hilarious misadventures. Discovering how old Drake Bell and Josh Peck are now offers a fascinating glimpse into the passage of time, connecting our nostalgia with their real-world growth and careers.

Knowing the actors’ current ages helps us appreciate the longevity of their bond and their individual journeys. As of 2025, Drake Bell was born on June 27, 1986, making him 38 years old. Josh Peck, born on November 10, 1986, is also 38 years old. This near-identical age mirrors their on-screen brotherhood, but their paths have diverged significantly since the show ended.

The key purpose of understanding their ages is to see how their careers have evolved beyond the iconic roles. For everyday life, this context enriches how we discuss celebrity growth. For example, when you hear Drake Bell’s recent music or legal challenges, remembering he is a man in his late thirties—not a teenager—provides a more mature perspective. Similarly, when you see Josh Peck’s successful transition into dramatic acting and fatherhood, his age underscores his personal and professional development.

Consider this scenario: you are re-watching an episode where 15-year-old Josh loses his driver’s license. Now, seeing the real Josh Peck as a father on Instagram, you realize how dramatically life stages change. This comparison grounds the show’s fictional chaos in a very real, relatable timeline. It reminds us that the actors we grew up with are navigating the same milestones of adulthood—marriage, parenthood, and career reinvention—as the rest of us.

A simple tip to explore this further is to compare their social media activity. Follow both Drake and Josh on Instagram or X. You will notice Josh often shares parenting wins and acting projects, while Drake’s feed reflects his musical pursuits. Another great way is to rewatch the 2022 documentary Quiet on Set, which details their experiences, providing stark context to their current ages and perspectives.

Ultimately, the ages of Drake and Josh are more than trivia. They are a powerful reminder that the characters we love remained frozen in time, while the people who played them kept growing. Using this knowledge, you can revisit old episodes with a newfound appreciation for how far everyone has come—both on screen and off.
